Lipotransplant |
Lipotransplant, by the use of autogenous fat (retrieved from the patient's abdomen or thighs), is available for filling about the face as an adjunct to other enhancements (midface, prejowl, or lip fillers). Autogeneous fat injections are thought of as techniques to enhance more permanent cosmetic surgery procedures. This procedure is not permanent and often several sessions are necessary to achieve the desired results.

| SMAS Sub-cutaneous Musclo Aponeurotic System (similar to fascia, which is the covering of the muscle). SMAS is muscle and tissue excised during facial cosmetic surgery and re-implanted to lines around the mouth. SMAS is an adjunct to facial surgery. |
